Jay Velikovsky
Owner

Jay got his start working for a local sign company, and gradually moved into a management role. When the business sold, he decided it was an opportunity to go back to school and buy a small machine to do some work on the side for extra cash. The jobs kept coming and coming; eventually he was so busy he grew his side business into his own vinyl/small signage company. 15 years later, he runs the business alongside brother Kyle and wife Jessica. When he’s not at work, Jay likes to spend his weekends renovating houses or at the lake, water skiing and surfing.

Sales & Marketing, Accounting

Jess has been with Graphic FX for 9 years, as head of Sales & Marketing, Accounting and Graphic Design services. Jess loves working for a family business and being surrounded daily by a fun team of people she knows and trusts. Raised in Fort St John, Jess likes the community of small towns; her favourite aspect of the business is getting to know so many clients and businesses around Victoria. She also loves seeing Graphic FX’s work on display around town. Jess likes to spend weekends away from work soaking up the sun on the boat and hiking with ‘the shop dog’ their Siberian Husky, Enzo.

Kyle Velikovsky
Operations Manager

Growing up, Kyle learned at an early age that he was very passionate for business and wanted to run one for himself one day.  He was taught from an early age to have a very strong work ethic and he is very grateful to this day for those ‘core’ roots.  Not looking to ‘peak’ in his career in his early 20’s he realized it was time to go back to school and further himself.  Shortly after attending school, Kyle was approached by his brother Jay to join his growing business.  Seeing the company’s growth and potential, Kyle joined the company in 2006 and began to learn the business. With desire to continue to grow personally as well as with the company, he continued his studies while working in the business and finished his degree in entrepreneurial management.   Since 2006, Kyle has seen this company grow and succeed, turning from a small busy shop to a leading player in the sign industry on Vancouver Island. Life can’t be all about work, so in my spare time he enjoys competing in triathlon and spending time with his family.
